For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.

Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, And night unto night reveals knowledge.The heavens tell of the glory of God; And their expanse declares the work of His hands. Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge.
It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy, And afterward to reconsider his vows.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.I have seen that every labor and every skill which is done is the result of rivalry between a person and his neighbor. This too is futility and striving after wind.

And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”
And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined.It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves.
As the deer pants for the water brooks, So pants my soul for You, O God.As the deer pants for the water brooks, So my soul pants for You, God.
For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.For if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you truly practice justice between a person and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the orphan, or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, nor follow other gods to your own ruin, then I will let you live in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has dealt bountifully with me.But I have trusted in Your faithfulness; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, Because He has looked after me.
But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.
Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.Who, as He already existed in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but emptied Himself by taking the form of a bond-servant and being born in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death: death on a cross.
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers.The end of all things is near; therefore, be of sound judgment and sober spirit for the purpose of prayer.
Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality.To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life.
Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.Let your gentle spirit be known to all people. The Lord is near.

And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.The Lord also restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the Lord increased double all that Job had.
