Coming after me (4/4)

Most certainly I tell you, he who receives whomever I send, receives me; and he who receives me, receives him who sent me.Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever receives the one I send receives me, and whoever receives me receives the one who sent me.
His Son is the radiance of his glory, the very image of his substance, and upholding all things by the word of his power, who, when he had by himself purified us of our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.He is the reflection of God’s glory and the perfect expression of his very being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. Achieving purification from sins, he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
For though we walk in the flesh, we don’t wage war according to the flesh.Although we are human beings, we do not engage in battle according to human standards.
But when he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, don’t be afraid to take to yourself Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.”After he had decided to follow this course of action, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to receive Mary into your home as your wife. For this child has been conceived in her womb through the Holy Spirit.”
If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.If anyone wishes to serve me, he must follow me. Where I am, there also will my servant be. If anyone serves me, my Father will honor that person.
“No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.No weapon used against you will prevail, and you will refute every accusation that is raised in court against you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, their vindication from me, says the Lord.
Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.Father, allow those you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they may behold my glory, which you have bestowed on me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

You have also given me the shield of your salvation. Your right hand sustains me. Your gentleness has made me great. You broadened the path beneath me so that my feet have never stumbled.
In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness.In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; in your righteousness deliver me.
Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and undefiled is this: to come to the aid of orphans and widows in their hardships and to keep oneself untarnished by the world.
I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
You are my hiding place. You will preserve me from trouble. You will surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah.You are a place of refuge for me; you preserve me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Selah

Seeing that his divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue.
Guide me in your truth, and teach me, for you are the God of my salvation. I wait for you all day long.Guide me in your truth and instruct me, for you are God, my Savior, and in you I hope all the day long.
Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can’t carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that.For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.
There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his.Therefore, a Sabbath rest still remains for the people of God, since those who enter into God’s rest also cease from their own labors as God did from his.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your gracious Spirit lead me along a level path.
For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.
But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.But as for me, I will look to the Lord. I place my hope in God my savior; my God will hear me.
I spread out my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah.I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burdens, even the God who is our salvation. Selah.Blessed be the Lord, day after day, the God of our salvation, who carries our burden. Selah
