Bible Verses about 'Confident'

Though an army should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me, even then I will be confident.Though an army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even then I will be confident.
I am still confident of this: I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Rejoicing in hope, enduring in troubles, continuing steadfastly in prayer.Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.
Now, little children, remain in him, that when he appears, we may have boldness and not be ashamed before him at his coming.And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope in the power of the Holy Spirit.May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people.
Not only this, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.
So that with good courage we say, “The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?”So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?”
But if we hope for that which we don’t see, we wait for it with patience.But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.
But as for me, I will look to Yahweh. I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord, I wait for God my Savior; my God will hear me.

Bible verse of the day

One who is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
one who rules his spirit, than he who takes a city.
