Bible Verses about 'Debt'

And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for the one who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the Law.
The wicked borrow, and do not pay back, but the righteous are generous and keep giving. The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives.
Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.Pay to all what is due them: tax to whom tax is due; custom to whom custom; respect to whom respect; honor to whom honor.
The rich rules over the poor, and the borrower is the slave of the lender. The rich rules over the poor, And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave.
Give to everyone who begs from you; and if anyone takes away your goods, do not ask for them again.Give to everyone who asks of you, and whoever takes away what is yours, do not demand it back.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, does not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has enough to complete it?For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
When the Lord your God has blessed you, as he promised you, you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.For the Lord your God will have blessed you just as He has promised you, and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow; and you will rule over many nations, but they will not rule over you.
Wealth hastily gotten will dwindle, but those who gather little by little will increase it.Wealth obtained from nothing dwindles, But one who gathers by labor increases it.
Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you,”
No one can serve two masters; for a slave will either hate the one and love the other, or be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. For this reason God gave them up to degrading passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural, and in the same way also the men, giving up natural intercourse with women, were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameless acts with men and received in their own persons the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind and to things that should not be done. For they exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged natural relations for that which is contrary to nature, and likewise the men, too, abandoned natural relations with women and burned in their desire toward one another, males with males committing shameful acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a depraved mind, to do those things that are not proper.
