Bible Verses about 'Doeth'

A cheerful heart is a good medicine, but a downcast spirit dries up the bones.A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.
And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever.
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants.
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.Anyone who listens to my teaching and follows it is wise, like a person who builds a house on solid rock.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
Well then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by your doing the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard?I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ.
But when you give alms, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your alms may be done in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.But when you give to someone in need, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing. Give your gifts in private, and your Father, who sees everything, will reward you.
Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors. Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts. Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.
But be doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves. But don’t just listen to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.
Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
All deeds are right in the sight of the doer, but the Lord weighs the heart.People may be right in their own eyes, but the Lord examines their heart.
Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.
Our God is in the heavens; he does whatever he pleases. Our God is in the heavens, and he does as he wishes.
But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.
The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does. The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.
A faithful witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies.An honest witness does not lie; a false witness breathes lies.
And whoever does not take up the cross and follow me is not worthy of me.If you refuse to take up your cross and follow me, you are not worthy of being mine.
Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
Surely the Lord God does nothing, without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.Indeed, the Sovereign Lord never does anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the prophets.
The one who believes and is baptized will be saved; but the one who does not believe will be condemned.Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved. But anyone who refuses to believe will be condemned.
But he answered, “It is written, ‘One does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”But Jesus told him, “No! The Scriptures say, ‘People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
How does God's love abide in anyone who has the world's goods and sees a brother or sister in need and yet refuses help?If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion—how can God’s love be in that person?
For if they fall, one will lift up the other; but woe to one who is alone and falls and does not have another to help.If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.
For if the eagerness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has—not according to what one does not have.Whatever you give is acceptable if you give it eagerly. And give according to what you have, not what you don’t have.
And whoever does not provide for relatives, and especially for family members, has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. But those who won’t care for their relatives, especially those in their own household, have denied the true faith. Such people are worse than unbelievers.

And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.
