When you pray, don’t babble on and on as the Gentiles do. They think their prayers are answered merely by repeating their words again and again. So you see, the Lord knows how to rescue godly people from their trials, even while keeping the wicked under punishment until the day of final judgment. 2 Peter 2:9	Then the Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. temptation judgment punishment
Even so, I have noticed one thing, at least, that is good. It is good for people to eat, drink, and enjoy their work under the sun during the short life God has given them, and to accept their lot in life. Ecclesiastes 5:18	Here is what I have seen: It is good and fitting for one to eat and drink, and to enjoy the good of all his labor in which he toils under the sun all the days of his life which God gives him; for it is his heritage. food work life

It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise. Oh, that they would always have hearts like this, that they might fear me and obey all my commands! If they did, they and their descendants would prosper forever. The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. If you follow my decrees and are careful to obey my commands, I will send you the seasonal rains. The land will then yield its crops, and the trees of the field will produce their fruit. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:10	And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. trust seeking reliability
They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity— all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved. Acts 2:46-47	So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, praising God and having favor with all the people. He sent out his word and healed them, snatching them from the door of death. Psalm 107:20	He sent His word and healed them, And delivered them from their destructions. healing Word of God

Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you.

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
