Bible Verses about 'Even their women'
- Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due. And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting.
- In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
- These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with His brothers.
- But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.”
- But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
- For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
- Even to your old age, I am He,
And even to gray hairs I will carry you!
I have made, and I will bear;
Even I will carry, and will deliver you. - One who turns away his ear from hearing the law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
- He heals the brokenhearted
And binds up their wounds. - Even a fool is counted wise when he holds his peace;
When he shuts his lips, he is considered perceptive. - You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!
- If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.
- Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their cry. - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Two are better than one,
Because they have a good reward for their labor. - Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward.
- For they did not gain possession of the land by their own sword,
Nor did their own arm save them;
But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance,
Because You favored them. - Children’s children are the crown of old men,
And the glory of children is their father. - But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret.
- For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
- Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
