- When they had pasture, they were filled;
They were filled and their heart was exalted;
Therefore they forgot Me. - Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
- And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- Then, having fasted and prayed, and laid hands on them, they sent them away.
- For there is not a word on my tongue,
But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether. - For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
- “Now, therefore,” says the Lord,
“Turn to Me with all your heart,
With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
- And those who know Your name will put their trust in You;
For You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You. - And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
- For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
- But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.
- For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.
- For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Oh, that they had such a heart in them that they would fear Me and always keep all My commandments, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!
- But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
- If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them,
then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit. - Blessed are those who keep His testimonies,
Who seek Him with the whole heart! - Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You. - Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. - We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
- When goods increase,
They increase who eat them;
So what profit have the owners
Except to see them with their eyes? - Before the mountains were brought forth,
Or ever You had formed the earth and the world,
Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.
