Bible Verses about 'Even their women'
- Also that the women should dress themselves modestly and decently in suitable clothing, not with their hair braided, or with gold, pearls, or expensive clothes, but with good works, as is proper for women who profess reverence for God.
- Because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever! Amen. return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. - But fornication and impurity of any kind, or greed, must not even be mentioned among you, as is proper among saints.
- The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
and his ears are open to their cry. - Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what such people do secretly.
- Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off.
- Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil.
- And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
