Everyone (2/3)

Through the grace that God has bestowed upon me, I advise every one of you not to think of yourself too highly, but to regard yourself objectively, based on the measure of faith that God has granted. For I say, through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt to each one a measure of faith.
May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.And may the Lord make you increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we do to you.
This is the end of my teaching. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for that is the responsibility of everyone.Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man’s all.
Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God.Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God.
Rather, revere Christ as Lord in your hearts. Always be prepared to offer an explanation to anyone who asks you to justify the hope that is in you. However, do so with gentleness and respect. But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear.
Pay to each person what is rightfully his—taxes to the one to whom taxes are due, tolls to the one to whom tolls are due, respect to the one to whom respect is due, honor to the one to whom honor is due.Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor.
But the one who did not know those wishes, and who acted in such a manner as to deserve a beating, will be beaten less severely. Much will be demanded of a person to whom much has been given, and even more will be asked of a person to whom more has been entrusted. But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
You have heard that it was said of old: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that anyone who looks with lust at a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart. You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
Everyone who sins comes from the devil, for the devil has been a sinner from the very beginning. The Son of God appeared for this very purpose: to destroy the work of the devil. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Therefore, while we have the opportunity, let us labor for the good of all, but especially for those members of the household of the faith. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
As Scripture asserts, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.”For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
One person may consider one day to be more sacred than another, while another may judge all days to be alike. Let everyone be convinced in his own beliefs. One person esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each be fully convinced in his own mind.
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Just as in Adam all die, so all will be brought to life in Christ. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of your opportunity. Let your speech always be gracious and seasoned with wisdom, so that you will know how to respond properly to all.Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time. Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one.
Just as he came forth naked from his mother’s womb, so shall he depart, naked as he came, with nothing remaining from his labor that he can carry away in his hands. As he came from his mother’s womb, naked shall he return, To go as he came; And he shall take nothing from his labor Which he may carry away in his hand.
Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.As for every man to whom God has given riches and wealth, and given him power to eat of it, to receive his heritage and rejoice in his labor—this is the gift of God.
Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. In the same way, your light must shine so that it can be seen by others; this will enable them to observe your good works and give praise to your Father in heaven.Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
Then he said to them, “Go forth into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to all creation.”And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.”
The Lord does not delay in keeping his promise, as some think in terms of delay, but he is patient with you. It is not his wish that any should perish but rather that all should be brought to repentance. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.
I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
A man is joyful when he utters apt answers, and even more satisfying is a word in season.A man has joy by the answer of his mouth, And a word spoken in due season, how good it is!
Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father either; he who acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
And so does kindness, O Lord. You reward each person in accordance with his deeds. Also to You, O Lord, belongs mercy; For You render to each one according to his work.
They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, and so too will your household.”So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

I understand that man’s greatest happiness is to be glad and do well throughout his life. And when we eat and drink and find satisfaction in all our labors, this is a gift of God.I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives, and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor—it is the gift of God.
