Fill me with joy (2/4)

A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.A wise son makes a glad father, But a foolish son is the grief of his mother.
The father of a righteous child has great joy; a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.The father of the righteous will greatly rejoice, And he who begets a wise child will delight in him.
In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
The vine is dried up and the fig tree is withered; the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree— all the trees of the field—are dried up. Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”Then he said to them, “Go your way, eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not sorrow, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.
For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning.
However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.
The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them. The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing.Because I delivered the poor who cried out, The fatherless and the one who had no helper. The blessing of a perishing man came upon me, And I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep.
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.
The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High.
Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops.Honor the Lord with your possessions, And with the firstfruits of all your increase.
I seek you with all my heart; do not let me stray from your commands.With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments!
Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him.This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, We shall also live with Him.
Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat down with my Father on his throne.To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
He answered, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”

Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.
