Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.
Whoever is patient has great understanding, but one who is quick-tempered displays folly.He who is slow to wrath has great understanding, But he who is impulsive exalts folly.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.Rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer.
Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.With all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love.

But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.
Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love, and he relents from sending calamity.So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the Lord your God, For He is gracious and merciful, Slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.
But the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.But he who endures to the end shall be saved.
Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.Behold, I am coming quickly! Hold fast what you have, that no one may take your crown.
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing.The hope of the righteous will be gladness, But the expectation of the wicked will perish.
