Understand, therefore, that the Lord your God is indeed God. He is the faithful God who keeps his covenant for a thousand generations and lavishes his unfailing love on those who love him and obey his commands.Know therefore that the Lord thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations.
And remember, when you are being tempted, do not say, “God is tempting me.” God is never tempted to do wrong, and he never tempts anyone else.Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man.

Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
That’s why those who are still under the control of their sinful nature can never please God.So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Now all glory to God our Father forever and ever! Amen. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Don’t you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
So there is a special rest still waiting for the people of God. For all who have entered into God’s rest have rested from their labors, just as God did after creating the world. There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children.

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is.
Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
