The beginning of wisdom is: acquire wisdom, and no matter what the cost, acquire understanding. Proverbs 4:7	Getting wisdom is the wisest thing you can do! And whatever else you do, develop good judgment. wisdom understanding
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10	Fear of the Lord is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. awe wisdom holiness
The end of all things is near. Therefore, lead disciplined lives and be watchful in prayer. 1 Peter 4:7	The end of the world is coming soon. Therefore, be earnest and disciplined in your prayers. second coming end times rest
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render fair judgments, and show kindness and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow, the orphan, the alien, or the poor. Do not plot evil in your heart against one another. Zechariah 7:9-10	This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Judge fairly, and show mercy and kindness to one another. Do not oppress widows, orphans, foreigners, and the poor. And do not scheme against each other. evil righteousness neighbor
He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright. Deuteronomy 32:4	He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off. Psalm 37:28	For the Lord loves justice, and he will never abandon the godly. He will keep them safe forever, but the children of the wicked will die. eternal life reliability righteousness
Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them the path to follow. Psalm 25:8-9	The Lord is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. He leads the humble in doing right, teaching them his way. righteousness humility learning
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not believe in the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God rests upon him. John 3:36	And anyone who believes in God’s Son has eternal life. Anyone who doesn’t obey the Son will never experience eternal life but remains under God’s angry judgment. eternal life faith obedience
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe in him already stands condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the only-begotten Son of God. John 3:18	There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. faith judgment
Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. Also, he is able to humble all those who follow the path of pride. Daniel 4:34	Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and glorify and honor the King of heaven. Seek the Lord, all you humble of the land who obey his commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; then perhaps you may find shelter on the day of the Lord’s anger. Zephaniah 2:3	Seek the Lord, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the Lord will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. seeking protection humility
However, if you truly amend your ways and your deeds, if you are upright in your dealings with your neighbor; if you do not oppress the alien, the orphan, and the widow; if you do not shed innocent blood in this place; and if you do not follow other gods and thereby cause your own destruction, then I will allow you to live in this place, in the land that I gave as a permanent gift to your fathers long ago. Jeremiah 7:5-7	But I will be merciful only if you stop your evil thoughts and deeds and start treating each other with justice; only if you stop exploiting foreigners, orphans, and widows; only if you stop your murdering; and only if you stop harming yourselves by worshiping idols. Malachi 3:17	“They will be my people,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. “On the day when I act in judgment, they will be my own special treasure. But even so the Lord is waiting to be gracious to you, and he will rise up to grant you his compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him. Isaiah 30:18	So the Lord must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God.
