Bible Verses about Community

  • And let us consider how to spur one another to love and good works. Do not neglect to attend your assemblies, as some do, but rather encourage one another, especially since you can see the Day approaching.
  • For just as in one body we have many parts, and the parts do not all have the same function, so we, though many, make up one body in Christ, and individually we are all parts of one another.
  • How wonderful and delightful it is
for brothers to live together in unity.
  • For where two or three are gathered together in my name, I am there in their midst.
  • Finally, all of you should be united in spirit, sympathetic, filled with love for one another, compassionate, and humble.

They would break bread in their homes and share their food with joyful and generous hearts as they praised God, and they were regarded with favor by all the people. then we have fellowship with one another,
and the blood of Jesus his Son
    purifies us from all sin.

  • Amen, amen, I say to you,
whoever receives the one I send
    receives me,
    and whoever receives me
receives the one who sent me.
  • All of these were constantly engaged in prayer, together with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.
  • For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, Jews as well as Greeks, slaves as well as free men, and we were all given the same Spirit to drink.
  • They devoted themselves to the teaching of the apostles and to the communal fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayers.
  • The body is one, although it has many parts; and all the parts, though many, form one body. So it is with Christ.
