| And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.” So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken. | Yahweh God said, “Behold, the man has become like one of us, knowing good and evil. | The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. | Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. |
| After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight. | When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight. |
| Watch out that you do not lose what we have worked for, but that you may be rewarded fully. | Watch yourselves, that we don’t lose the things which we have accomplished, but that we receive a full reward. |

| Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. | He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water. |
| If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over. | If your brother sins against you, go, show him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained back your brother. |
| Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. | Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life. |

| When the sentence for a crime is not quickly carried out, people’s hearts are filled with schemes to do wrong. | Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. |
