From the depths of despair, O Lord, I call for your help. Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer. Psalm 130:1-2	Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications. listening dependence mercy
I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me, for my Father has given them to me, and he is more powerful than anyone else. Then the Lord God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, knowing both good and evil. What if they reach out, take fruit from the tree of life, and eat it? God places the lonely in families; he sets the prisoners free and gives them joy. But he makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land. But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings. And you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2	But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise With healing in His wings; And you shall go out And grow fat like stall-fed calves. joy righteousness healing
Remember that you were once slaves in Egypt, but the Lord your God brought you out with his strong hand and powerful arm. That is why the Lord your God has commanded you to rest on the Sabbath day. But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears. And then he added, “It is what comes from inside that defiles you. For from within, out of a person’s heart, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, envy, slander, pride, and foolishness. All these vile things come from within; they are what defile you.” Mark 7:20-23	And He said, “What comes out of a man, that defiles a man. For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. Have mercy on me, O God, because of your unfailing love. Because of your great compassion, blot out the stain of my sins. Wash me clean from my guilt. Purify me from my sin. Psalm 51:1-2	Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. Isaiah 55:11	So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Word of God speaking reliability
An honest witness does not lie; a false witness breathes lies. Proverbs 14:5	A faithful witness does not lie, But a false witness will utter lies. lying truth reliability
But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. 1 Peter 2:9	But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. evangelism salvation holiness
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” Matthew 4:19	Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” following Jesus evangelism
People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed. Proverbs 10:9	He who walks with integrity walks securely, But he who perverts his ways will become known. sin safety life
In my distress I prayed to the Lord, and the Lord answered me and set me free. Psalm 118:5	I called on the Lord in distress; The Lord answered me and set me in a broad place. prayer dependence comforter
Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:18	There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. love fear punishment
Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from God. For there are many false prophets in the world. 1 John 4:1	Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. trust Spirit prophecy
Wash yourselves and be clean! Get your sins out of my sight. Give up your evil ways. Isaiah 1:16	Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes. Cease to do evil. sin purification evil
But when they saw him walking on the water, they cried out in terror, thinking he was a ghost. They were all terrified when they saw him. But Jesus spoke to them at once. “Don’t be afraid,” he said. “Take courage! I am here!” Mark 6:49-50	And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content. 1 Timothy 6:7-8	For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. food materialism contentment
Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching. 2 Timothy 4:2	Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. evangelism punishment patience
Mark out a straight path for your feet; stay on the safe path. Proverbs 4:26	Ponder the path of your feet, And let all your ways be established. life thoughts
So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it! For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes. Matthew 24:26-27	Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. second coming Jesus
Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Psalm 25:4	Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths. life learning
