Let your light shine (4/4)

Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.
He answered them, “He who has two coats, let him give to him who has none. He who has food, let him do likewise.”In reply he said to them, “Whoever has two coats must share with anyone who has none; and whoever has food must do likewise.”
Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!Sing praises to the Lord, for he has done gloriously; let this be known in all the earth.
But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.But because of cases of sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
Don’t let him who eats despise him who doesn’t eat. Don’t let him who doesn’t eat judge him who eats, for God has accepted him.Those who eat must not despise those who abstain, and those who abstain must not pass judgment on those who eat; for God has welcomed them.
If we live by the Spirit, let’s also walk by the Spirit.If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.
Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor’s good.Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.
Why do you set your eyes on that which is not? For it certainly sprouts wings like an eagle and flies in the sky.When your eyes light upon it, it is gone; for suddenly it takes wings to itself, flying like an eagle toward heaven.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
My little children, let’s not love in word only, or with the tongue only, but in deed and truth.Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!”On the last day of the festival, the great day, while Jesus was standing there, he cried out, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me.”
Return, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions, so iniquity will not be your ruin.Repent and turn from all your transgressions; otherwise iniquity will be your ruin.
So, then, my beloved brothers, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger.You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.

Let each one of us please his neighbor for that which is good, to be building him up.Each of us must please our neighbor for the good purpose of building up the neighbor.

But “he who boasts, let him boast in the Lord.” For it isn’t he who commends himself who is approved, but whom the Lord commends.“Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not those who commend themselves that are approved, but those whom the Lord commends.
He said to all, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.”Then he said to them all, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me.”
Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is clear, enlightening the eyes.
Let’s hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering; for he who promised is faithful.Let us hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.

Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name.
Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by his good conduct that his deeds are done in gentleness of wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.
God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God.
