| Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name. | Teach me your ways, O Lord, so that I may walk in your truth; let me worship your name with an undivided heart. |
| But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. | But if you do not forgive others, then your Father will not forgive your transgressions. |
| Now why do you wait? Arise, be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord. | And now, what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized, and have your sins washed away, calling on his name. |
| For you will light my lamp, Yahweh. My God will light up my darkness. | You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light. |

You are to labor on six days, doing all of your work then. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor your cattle, nor even the foreigner living in your town. Thus your manservant and maidservant can rest as well. |
| May he grant you your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your counsel. | May he give you your heart’s desire and grant you success in all your plans. |
| It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to Yahweh your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that Yahweh your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. | If you heed the voice of the Lord, your God, and you carefully observe all of the commandments that I have given you today, then the Lord, your God, will lift you up above all the other nations upon the earth. |
| Hear, Israel: Yahweh is our God. Yahweh is one. You shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might. | Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. |
