Living stone (2/3)

As servants of God, behave as free people, but do not use your freedom as a means to cover up wrongdoing. As free, yet not using liberty as a cloak for vice, but as bondservants of God.
You shall observe the Sabbath by keeping it holy, as the Lord, your God, has commanded you. You are to labor on six days, doing all of your work then. The seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord, your God. You shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your ox, nor your ass, nor your cattle, nor even the foreigner living in your town. Thus your manservant and maidservant can rest as well.Observe the Sabbath day, to keep it holy, as the Lord your God commanded you. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your ox, nor your donkey, nor any of your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates, that your male servant and your female servant may rest as well as you.
Seek peace with everyone, as well as the holiness without which no one will ever see the Lord.Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.
If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, then the one who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit that dwells in you.But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
I know how to live with little, and I know how to live with plenty. In any and all circumstances, I have learned the secret of being well fed and of going hungry, of having plenty and of being in need.I know how to be abased, and I know how to abound. Everywhere and in all things I have learned both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
If it seems wrong to you to serve the Lord, then today you must choose whom you will serve, whether it be the gods that your fathers served on the other side of the river, or the gods of the Amorites who dwell in the land. As for me and my household, we will serve the Lord. And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
What then shall we say? Should we persist in sin in order that grace may abound? Of course not! We have died to sin. How can we live in it any longer? What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it?
As a result, you are no longer strangers and foreigners. Rather, you are fellow citizens of the saints and members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone.
Treasures obtained by wicked means profit nothing, but a righteous life brings delivery from death.Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, But righteousness delivers from death.
As for you, teach what is consistent with sound doctrine. But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine.
I will praise you in sincerity of heart as I ponder your righteous judgments.I will praise You with uprightness of heart, When I learn Your righteous judgments.
You can eat any water creature that has fins and scales; those you can eat. Whatever does not have fins or scales, you are not to eat. It is unclean for you. These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat all that have fins and scales. And whatever does not have fins and scales you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.
Rather, let justice flow like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. But let justice run down like water, And righteousness like a mighty stream.
Riches will be of no avail on the day of wrath, but righteousness delivers from death.Riches do not profit in the day of wrath, But righteousness delivers from death.
God abides in anyone who acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, and that person abides in God.Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
You will show me the path to life; you will fill me with joy in your presence and everlasting delights at your right hand. You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
If we claim that we have fellowship with him while we continue to live in darkness, we are lying and do not live in the truth. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
The precepts of the Lord are right, causing the heart to rejoice. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving light to the eyes. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
Moses remained with the Lord for forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments, on the tablets. So he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.
Who among you is wise and understanding? Prove by your good life that your works are done with the humility that comes from wisdom.Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom.
However, if we live in the light as he himself is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son purifies us from all sin.But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.
At the time that discipline is received, it always seems painful rather than pleasant, but afterward it yields a harvest of peace and uprightness to those who have been trained by it.Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.
Turn away from youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, together with those who call on the Lord with a pure heart.Flee also youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior and a savior. He will rejoice over you with gladness and renew you through his love. He will exult over you with shouts of joy.The Lord your God in your midst, The Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.

His divine power has bestowed on us everything that is necessary for life and for devotion through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and virtue. As His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.
