- He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God. - May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you.
- For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
- In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
- However, as it is written:
“What no eye has seen,
what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”—
the things God has prepared for those who love him. - The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit. - Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.

my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”
- Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.
- However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
- See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them.He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.
