Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown.Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
We love Him because He first loved us.We love because He first loved us.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. To love him with all your heart, with all your understanding and with all your strength, and to love your neighbor as yourself is more important than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.
‘And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment.Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.
If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen.
Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil.Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Now may the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.May the Lord direct your hearts into God’s love and Christ’s perseverance.

If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
Hatred stirs up strife, But love covers all sins.Hatred stirs up conflict, but love covers over all wrongs.
Make Your face shine upon Your servant; Save me for Your mercies’ sake.Let your face shine on your servant; save me in your unfailing love.
