For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.The Savior—yes, the Messiah, the Lord—has been born today in Bethlehem, the city of David!
Do not fear, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.So don’t be afraid, little flock. For it gives your Father great happiness to give you the Kingdom.
For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known.The time is coming when everything that is covered up will be revealed, and all that is secret will be made known to all.
But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; only believe, and she will be made well.”But when Jesus heard what had happened, he said to Jairus, “Don’t be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be healed.”
Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.Give to anyone who asks; and when things are taken away from you, don’t try to get them back.
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.In the same way, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels when even one sinner repents.
And if you do good to those who do good to you, what credit is that to you? For even sinners do the same.And if you do good only to those who do good to you, why should you get credit? Even sinners do that much!
For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it.If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.”But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.”
Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, or it will all come back against you. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.
Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.” And the soldiers gambled for his clothes by throwing dice.
Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.”Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.”
Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.The shepherds went back to their flocks, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen. It was just as the angel had told them.
And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’ ” Having said this, He breathed His last.Then Jesus shouted, “Father, I entrust my spirit into your hands!” And with those words he breathed his last.
He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”John replied, “If you have two shirts, give one to the poor. If you have food, share it with those who are hungry.”

Likewise He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you.”After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.”
