And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’

Or do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
He said to them, “But who do you yourselves say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
But He answered and said, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God.’ ”Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
Therefore, everyone who hears these words of Mine, and acts on them, will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
Now John himself had a garment of camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist; and his food was locusts and wild honey.John’s clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist. His food was locusts and wild honey.
But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”
Now go and learn what this means: ‘I desire compassion, rather than sacrifice,’ for I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.
Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven people, but blasphemy against the Spirit shall not be forgiven.And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
And I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
For what good will it do a person if he gains the whole world, but forfeits his soul? Or what will a person give in exchange for his soul?What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?
This gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
And when you are praying, do not use thoughtless repetition as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard because of their many words.And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words.
Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.If your brother or sister sins, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter.Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father, who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.’This, then, is how you should pray: ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’
And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
Now while they were eating, Jesus took some bread, and after a blessing, He broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished!For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.
Jesus said to him, “If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.”Jesus answered, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the church; and if they refuse to listen even to the church, treat them as you would a pagan or a tax collector.
It is not this way among you, but whoever wants to become prominent among you shall be your servant, and whoever desires to be first among you shall be your slave.Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave.
Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?

But as for you, when you pray, go into your inner room, close your door, and pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
