And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.”And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”
But if you do not forgive other people, then your Father will not forgive your offenses.But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.
For if you forgive other people for their offenses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But make sure your statement is, ‘Yes, yes’ or ‘No, no’; anything beyond these is of evil origin.All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one.
From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
The one who has found his life will lose it, and the one who has lost his life on My account will find it.Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it.
Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword.
For this reason you must be ready as well; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
And above His head they put up the charge against Him which read, “THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.”Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews.
Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
How much more valuable then is a person than a sheep! So then, it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.How much more valuable is a person than a sheep! Therefore it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.
But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you.But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Blessed are those who have been persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
But when Jesus heard this, He said, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick.”On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?
And looking at them, Jesus said to them, “With people this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.
Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those with leprosy, cast out demons. Freely you received, freely give.Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.
Keep watching and praying, so that you do not come into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.
But I tell you that for every careless word that people speak, they will give an account of it on the day of judgment.But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill.Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.
In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.

And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’Jesus replied: ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
