My pleasure (2/4)

Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise.Turn at my reproof. Behold, I will pour out my spirit on you. I will make known my words to you.
I take joy in doing your will, my God, for your instructions are written on my heart.I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.
But in my distress I cried out to the Lord; yes, I prayed to my God for help. He heard me from his sanctuary; my cry to him reached his ears.In my distress I called on Yahweh, and cried to my God. He heard my voice out of his temple. My cry before him came into his ears.
Anyone who eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him.He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me, and I in him.
Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God.
I wait quietly before God, for my victory comes from him.My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.
When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Let all that I am wait quietly before God, for my hope is in him.My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.
When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long. When I kept silence, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.
Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.I acknowledged my sin to you. I didn’t hide my iniquity. I said, I will confess my transgressions to Yahweh, and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
You must keep my Sabbath days of rest and show reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord. You shall keep my Sabbaths, and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am Yahweh.
The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?Yahweh is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?
Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
You know what I long for, Lord; you hear my every sigh.Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you.
But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high. But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger. For you are my rock and my fortress, therefore for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.
If you love me, obey my commandments. If you love me, keep my commandments.
When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!Behold, God is my helper. The Lord is the one who sustains my soul.
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh.
I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from? My help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.Hear my prayer, Yahweh. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.
I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”“Yahweh is my portion,” says my soul. “Therefore I will hope in him.”
O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.
