Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.God blesses you when people mock you and persecute you and lie about you and say all sorts of evil things against you because you are my followers.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
Paul said, “John’s baptism was a baptism of repentance. He told the people to believe in the one coming after him, that is, in Jesus.”Paul said, “John’s baptism called for repentance from sin. But John himself told the people to believe in the one who would come later, meaning Jesus.”

Blessed are you when people hate you, when they exclude you and insult you and reject your name as evil, because of the Son of Man.What blessings await you when people hate you and exclude you and mock you and curse you as evil because you follow the Son of Man.
