| A man’s heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps. | A man's heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps. |
| Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. | Commit thy works unto the Lord, and thy thoughts shall be established. |

| Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established. | Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counsellors they are established. |

For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit. | Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit. |
| Yahweh will fulfill that which concerns me. Your loving kindness, Yahweh, endures forever. Don’t forsake the works of your own hands. | The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands. |
| God said, “Behold, I have given you every herb yielding seed, which is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree, which bears fruit yielding seed.
