- He is in the way of life who heeds correction,
but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.”
- This is eternal life, that they should know you, the only true God, and him whom you sent, Jesus Christ.
- For bodily exercise has some value, but godliness has value in all things, having the promise of the life which is now and of that which is to come.

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - You will show me the path of life.
In your presence is fullness of joy.
In your right hand there are pleasures forever more. - In this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
- Yahweh is my light and my salvation.
Whom shall I fear?
Yahweh is the strength of my life.
Of whom shall I be afraid? - I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer. Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.
- Yahweh will command his loving kindness in the daytime.
In the night his song shall be with me:
a prayer to the God of my life. - For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only born Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
- Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”
- That as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- He said to them, “Beware! Keep yourselves from covetousness, for a man’s life doesn’t consist of the abundance of the things which he possesses.”
- But now, being made free from sin and having become servants of God, you have your fruit of sanctification and the result of eternal life.
- Because your loving kindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise you.
So I will bless you while I live.
I will lift up my hands in your name. - I will never forget your precepts,
for with them, you have revived me. - My son, don’t forget my teaching,
but let your heart keep my commandments,
for they will add to you length of days,
years of life, and peace. - For he who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
