| Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. | The afflictions of the righteous are many, But the Lord rescues him from them all. |
| Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. | The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt. |
| Trust in Yahweh, and do good. Dwell in the land, and enjoy safe pasture. | Trust in the Lord and do good; Live in the land and cultivate faithfulness. |

| Commit your way to Yahweh. For the arms of the wicked will be broken, But the Lord sustains the righteous. |
| The wicked borrow, and don’t pay back, but the righteous give generously. | The wicked borrows and does not pay back, But the righteous is gracious and gives. |
| A man’s steps are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. | The steps of a man are established by the Lord, And He delights in his way. |
| For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn’t forsake his saints. They are preserved forever, but the children of the wicked shall be cut off. | For the Lord loves justice And does not abandon His godly ones; They are protected forever, But the descendants of the wicked will be eliminated. |
| Lord, all my desire is before you. My groaning is not hidden from you. | Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You. |
| Hear my prayer, Yahweh, and give ear to my cry. Don’t be silent at my tears. | Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me. | You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. |
