| He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. | He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. | He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. |

| Oh come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel before Yahweh, our Maker. | O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. |
| You who love Yahweh, hate evil! He preserves the souls of his saints. He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. | Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. |
| Praise Yahweh, my soul! All that is within me, praise his holy name! | Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. |
| Yahweh is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness. | The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy. |
| As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. | As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us. |
| Like a father has compassion on his children, so Yahweh has compassion on those who fear him. | Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. |
| But Yahweh’s loving kindness is from everlasting to everlasting with those who fear him, his righteousness to children’s children, to those who keep his covenant, to those who remember to obey his precepts. | But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
| I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live. I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. | I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. |
| Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Make his doings known among the peoples. | O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. |
| Seek Yahweh and his strength. Seek his face forever more. | Seek the Lord, and his strength: seek his face evermore. |
| For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good. | For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness. |
| He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves. | He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. |
| I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations. I will sing praises to you among the peoples. | I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: and I will sing praises unto thee among the nations. |
| Be exalted, God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth. | Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: and thy glory above all the earth. |
| The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever! | The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever. |
| Praise Yah! Blessed is the man who fears Yahweh, who delights greatly in his commandments. | Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. |
| It is well with the man who deals graciously and lends. He will maintain his cause in judgment. | A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. |
