The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help. Psalm 34:15	Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry. righteousness listening
So just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing. 2 Thessalonians 1:3	We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds. faith love gratitude
God blesses those who are persecuted for doing right, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs. Matthew 5:10	Blessed are those who have been persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. righteousness kingdom persecution
O Lord, I have come to you for protection; don’t let me be disgraced. Save me, for you do what is right. Psalm 31:1	In you, Yahweh, I take refuge. Let me never be disappointed. Deliver me in your righteousness. righteousness redeemer dependence
But those who do what is right come to the light so others can see that they are doing what God wants. John 3:21	But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his works may be revealed, that they have been done in God. light truth obedience
Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper who is just right for him.” Genesis 2:18	Yahweh God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.” creation marriage relationships
Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne. Revelation 3:21	He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. overcoming reward heaven
Now, who will want to harm you if you are eager to do good? 1 Peter 3:13	Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good? goodness evil work
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are. Romans 3:20	Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin. sin law righteousness
But God has protected me right up to this present time so I can testify to everyone, from the least to the greatest. I teach nothing except what the prophets and Moses said would happen— that the Messiah would suffer and be the first to rise from the dead, and in this way announce God’s light to Jews and Gentiles alike. God alone, who gave the law, is the Judge. He alone has the power to save or to destroy. So what right do you have to judge your neighbor? James 4:12	Only one is the lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge another? law judgment salvation
You say, “I am allowed to do anything”—but not everything is good for you. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God. Romans 10:4	For Christ is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. faith law righteousness
In the night I search for you; in the morning I earnestly seek you. For only when you come to judge the earth will people learn what is right. Isaiah 26:9	With my soul I have desired you in the night. Yes, with my spirit within me I will seek you earnestly; for when your judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness. righteousness judgment learning
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Romans 5:1	Being therefore justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. faith righteousness peace
I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die. Galatians 2:21	I don’t reject the grace of God. For if righteousness is through the law, then Christ died for nothing! grace righteousness law
For if you are trying to make yourselves right with God by keeping the law, you have been cut off from Christ! You have fallen away from God’s grace. Galatians 5:4	You are alienated from Christ, you who desire to be justified by the law. You have fallen away from grace. righteousness grace law
Look at the proud! They trust in themselves, and their lives are crooked. But the righteous will live by their faithfulness to God. Habakkuk 2:4	Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith. righteousness life reliability
“All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence. Job 1:12	Yahweh said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power. Only on himself don’t stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of Yahweh. devil protection almighty
No discipline is enjoyable while it is happening—it’s painful! But afterward there will be a peaceful harvest of right living for those who are trained in this way. Hebrews 12:11	All chastening seems for the present to be not joyous but grievous; yet afterward it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. righteousness peace children
This Good News tells us how God makes us right in his sight. This is accomplished from start to finish by faith. As the Scriptures say, “It is through faith that a righteous person has life.” Romans 1:17	For in it is revealed God’s righteousness from faith to faith. As it is written, “But the righteous shall live by faith.” faith righteousness salvation
