Right (2/4)

I have taught you in the way of wisdom. I have led you in straight paths.I have instructed you in the ways of wisdom and led you along the paths of righteousness.
He who walks blamelessly and does what is right, and speaks truth in his heart; he who doesn’t slander with his tongue, nor does evil to his friend, nor casts slurs against his fellow man.The one who leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from the heart and does not slander anyone, who does not harm a friend and does not scorn a neighbor.
Let your eyes look straight ahead. Fix your gaze directly before you.Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze on what lies before you.
You call me, ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord.’ You say so correctly, for so I am.You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am.
Good and upright is Yahweh, therefore he will instruct sinners in the way. He will guide the humble in justice. He will teach the humble his way.Good and upright is the Lord; therefore, he instructs sinners in his ways. He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them the path to follow.
The Rock: his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. A God of faithfulness who does no wrong, just and right is he.He is a rock, his deeds are perfect, and all of his ways are just. He is a God of truth who does no wrong; he is just and upright.
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth. For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth.
To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to Yahweh than sacrifice. To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “Don’t fear what they fear, neither be troubled.”Yet even if you should suffer for doing what is right, you are thereby blessed. Have no fear of others, and refuse to be intimidated by them.
Peter opened his mouth and said, “Truly I perceive that God doesn’t show favoritism; but in every nation he who fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.”Then Peter addressed them: “I now understand how true it is that God has no favorites, but that in every nation all those who fear God and do what is right are acceptable to him.”
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path. Then you will understand equity and justice as well as righteousness—every good path.
Let’s not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season if we don’t give up.Let us never grow weary in doing what is right, for if we do not give up, we will reap our harvest in due time.
Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed.Grant justice to the weak and the orphan; defend the rights of the lowly and the poor.
Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.Come to your senses and sin no more. For some of you have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.Train a child in the way he should go, and he will not deviate from it, even in old age.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase. Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven. For all of his works are right, and all of his ways are just. Also, he is able to humble all those who follow the path of pride.
We are bound to always give thanks to God for you, brothers, even as it is appropriate, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another abounds.Brethren, we must always give thanks to God for you, and it is only right that we do so. For your faith grows ever more, and the love that all of you have for one another continues to increase.
He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne. To anyone who is victorious, I will give the right to sit with me on my throne, as I myself overcame and sat with my Father on his throne.
Now who will harm you if you become imitators of that which is good? Now who is going to harm you if you are eager to do what is right?
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.“All things are lawful,” you may say—but not all things are beneficial. All things may be lawful—but not all things are constructive.
“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are expedient. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not be brought under the power of anything.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are beneficial. “All things are lawful for me,” but I will not allow myself to be dominated by anything.
Better is a little with righteousness, than great revenues with injustice. It is better to have little and be righteous than to acquire great riches with injustice.
Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith. The proud man’s heart is not upright, but the righteous man will live because of his faith.
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?The Lord has told you, O man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? Only this: to do what is right, to show mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.
Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow. And learn to do good. Pursue justice and rescue the oppressed; listen to the plea of the orphan and defend the widow.

It shall be righteousness to us, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as he has commanded us.If we are diligent in observing all of these commandments before the Lord, our God, as he commanded of us, then this will be our righteousness.

Let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but from the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in God’s sight.Next verse! With image
