For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:7-8	Indeed, rarely will anyone die for a righteous person—though perhaps for a good person someone might actually dare to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we still were sinners Christ died for us. sin salvation death
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. So that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Romans 6:1-2	What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it? sin grace life
Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Romans 6:3	Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? Jesus baptism
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin. Romans 6:5-6	For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his. We know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be destroyed, and we might no longer be enslaved to sin. sin resurrection addiction
And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. Romans 6:14	For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. sin grace law
What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? Certainly not! Romans 6:15	What then? Should we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! sin grace law
But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. Romans 6:22	But now that you have been freed from sin and enslaved to God, the advantage you get is sanctification. The end is eternal life. freedom redeemer sin

What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7	What then should we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet, if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.” sin law desires
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2	There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. law judgment redeemer
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. Romans 8:5	For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. life body Spirit
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Romans 8:6	To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace. Spirit peace life
So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Romans 8:8	And those who are in the flesh cannot please God. sin dependence desires
But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. Romans 8:11	If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:14	For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. obedience Spirit children
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Romans 8:15	For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!” fear Spirit children
The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. Romans 8:16	It is that very Spirit bearing witness with our spirit that we are children of God. God Spirit children
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. Romans 8:18	I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory about to be revealed to us. eternal life salvation suffering
