  • Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.

    So pants my soul for You, O God.
  • For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise.
  • You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him.
  • But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
  • The heavens declare the glory of God;
    And the firmament shows His handiwork.
    Day unto day utters speech,
    And night unto night reveals knowledge.
  • You shall therefore keep His statutes and His commandments which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
  • In the day of prosperity be joyful,
    But in the day of adversity consider:
    Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other,
    So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.
  • When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
  • But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”
  • Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
  • Again, I saw that for all toil and every skillful work a man is envied by his neighbor. This also is vanity and grasping for the wind.
  • Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight.
  • Now the birth of Jesus Christ was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit.
  • It is a snare for a man to devote rashly something as holy,
    And afterward to reconsider his vows.
  • And you shall have the tassel, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them, and that you may not follow the harlotry to which your own heart and your own eyes are inclined.
  • For if you thoroughly amend your ways and your doings, if you thoroughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbor, if you do not oppress the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place, or walk after other gods to your hurt, then I will cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers forever and ever.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
