But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret.And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
These are the things God has revealed to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
