The husband should give to his wife her conjugal rights, and likewise the wife to her husband. For the wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; likewise the husband does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
What then are we to say? Should we continue in sin in order that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin go on living in it?What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? May it never be! We who died to sin, how could we live in it any longer?
Do not deceive yourselves. If you think that you are wise in this age, you should become fools so that you may become wise.Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise among you in this world, let him become a fool that he may become wise.

What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them?What is man, that you think of him? What is the son of man, that you care for him?

Some judge one day to be better than another, while others judge all days to be alike. Let all be fully convinced in their own minds.One man esteems one day as more important. Another esteems every day alike. Let each man be fully assured in his own mind.

Let the believer who is lowly boast in being raised up, and the rich in being brought low, because the rich will disappear like a flower in the field.Let the brother in humble circumstances glory in his high position; and the rich, in that he is made humble, because like the flower in the grass, he will pass away.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another's feet.If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.

For the love of Christ urges us on, because we are convinced that one has died for all; therefore all have died.
