- Therefore say to them, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: None of my words will be delayed any longer; whatever I say will be fulfilled, declares the Sovereign Lord.’
- Words from the mouth of the wise are gracious,
but fools are consumed by their own lips. - Sin is not ended by multiplying words,
but the prudent hold their tongues. - “No weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,
and this is their vindication from me,”
declares the Lord. - This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’
This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.Next verse!With image
