However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many. Romans 5:15	But there is a great difference between Adam’s sin and God’s gracious gift. For the sin of this one man, Adam, brought death to many. But even greater is God’s wonderful grace and his gift of forgiveness to many through this other man, Jesus Christ. sin grace Jesus
Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the company of scoffers. Psalm 1:1	Oh, the joys of those who do not follow the advice of the wicked, or stand around with sinners, or join in with mockers. sin righteousness blessing
He builds his upper chambers in the heavens and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth— the Lord is his name. Amos 9:6	The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. Everyone who sins comes from the devil, for the devil has been a sinner from the very beginning. The Son of God appeared for this very purpose: to destroy the work of the devil. 1 John 3:8	But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it. Psalm 24:1	The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him. God life almighty
The grass may wither and the flower may fade, but the word of our God will endure forever. Isaiah 40:8	The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever. reliability God Word of God
The way of the Lord is a stronghold for the upright, but destruction for evildoers. Proverbs 10:29	The way of the Lord is a stronghold to those with integrity, but it destroys the wicked. sin reliability law
Who has performed these deeds and accomplished this? Who has summoned the nations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am the first, and I will be there with the last. Isaiah 41:4	Who has done such mighty deeds, summoning each new generation from the beginning of time? It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last. I alone am he. God strength
Make every possible effort to preserve the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3	Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. Spirit community peace
The seed sown among thorns is the one who hears the word, but worldly cares and the lure of riches choke the word and it bears no fruit. Matthew 13:22	The seed that fell among the thorns represents those who hear God’s word, but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life and the lure of wealth, so no fruit is produced. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer. However, the face of the Lord is set against those who do evil. 1 Peter 3:12	The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. And the one who searches hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will. Romans 8:27	And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will. Spirit mediator
Even though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, even though the olive crop will fail and the orchards will yield no food, even though the flock is cut off from the fold and there is no herd in the stalls, I will continue to rejoice in the Lord, and exult in the God of my salvation. Habakkuk 3:17-18	Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the Lord! The face of the Lord is turned against those who do evil, to erase all memory of them from the earth. Psalm 34:17	But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth. evil sin
The name of the Lord is a tower of strength; the upright man runs to it and finds refuge. Proverbs 18:10	The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe. God safety protection
The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore, the child to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God.” Luke 1:35	The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. The desires of the flesh result in death, but the desires of the Spirit result in life and peace. Romans 8:6	So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace. Spirit peace life
If the Lord does not build the house, those who construct it labor in vain. If the Lord does not guard the city, those who keep watch over it do so in vain. Psalm 127:1	Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted. Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good. God dependence
Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he protects the souls of his faithful ones and rescues them from the hand of the wicked. Psalm 97:10	You who love the Lord, hate evil! He protects the lives of his godly people and rescues them from the power of the wicked. reliability redeemer evil
And God said, “Let us make man in our image and likeness, and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the wild animals and reptiles that crawl upon the earth.” Genesis 1:26	Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them. Psalm 34:20	The righteous person faces many troubles, but the Lord comes to the rescue each time. righteousness suffering redeemer

Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things.

Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit.
