| The Lord God made clothing for the man and woman out of animal skins and he clothed them. | Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them. |

The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. |
| “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again. “As the Father has sent me, so I send you.” | Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. |
| You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. | They will never again experience hunger or thirst, nor will the sun or any scorching heat cause them discomfort. For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne will be their shepherd. He will guide them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. | They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes. |
| Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for he protects the souls of his faithful ones and rescues them from the hand of the wicked. | Ye that love the Lord, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. |
| Cure the sick who are there, and say, ‘The kingdom of God has come unto you.’ | And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. |
| Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather seek to expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of what deeds people do in secret. | And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret. |
| Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. | Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives and do not treat them harshly. | Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. |
| About midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. | And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. |
| But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” | But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven. |
