| Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. | Plans miscarry when counsel is lacking, but they succeed when there are many counselors. | Without counsel, plans go awry, But in the multitude of counselors they are established. |

| In the same way, I tell you, there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need of repentance. | I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. |
| Bring the tithes in full into the treasury so that there may be food in my house. Put me thus to the test, says the Lord of hosts, and see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down blessings upon you without measure. | “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this,” Says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it.” |
| This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him. | This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. |
| Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. | Indeed, under the Law almost everything is purified by blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness. | And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. |
| There is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing secret that will not become known. | For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. |
| Wives, be subject to your husbands as you are to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, just as Christ is the head of the Church, the body of which he is the Savior. | Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. |
| Thus there are three things that endure: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. | And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. |
| It is the Lord, your God, whom you are to follow. You must fear him and observe his commandments and obey what he tells you and serve him and hold fast to him. | You shall walk after the Lord your God and fear Him, and keep His commandments and obey His voice; you shall serve Him and hold fast to Him. |
| Let no one delude himself. If anyone among you considers himself to be wise by worldly standards, he must become a fool in order to be truly wise. | Let no one deceive himself. If anyone among you seems to be wise in this age, let him become a fool that he may become wise. |
| Let everyone submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which derives from God, and whatever authorities exist have been instituted by God. | Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. |
