The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills.God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the feet of a deer, and makes me tread upon the heights.
When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”He called the crowd with his disciples, and said to them, “If any want to become my followers, let them deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”
Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.In fulfillment of his own purpose he gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would become a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant, that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.For this reason he is the mediator of a new covenant, so that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance, because a death has occurred that redeems them from the transgressions under the first covenant.
I set My rainbow in the cloud, and it shall be for the sign of the covenant between Me and the earth.I have set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
What is desired in a man is kindness, And a poor man is better than a liar.What is desirable in a person is loyalty, and it is better to be poor than a liar.

Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other languages, as the Spirit gave them ability.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.”For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received a spirit of adoption. When we cry, “Abba! Father!”
One who turns away his ear from hearing the law, Even his prayer is an abomination.When one will not listen to the law, even one's prayers are an abomination.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. For thus says the High and Lofty One Who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, With him who has a contrite and humble spirit, To revive the spirit of the humble, And to revive the heart of the contrite ones.”For thus says the high and lofty one who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with those who are contrite and humble in spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite.
And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.”Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.
The rich man’s wealth is his strong city, And like a high wall in his own esteem.The wealth of the rich is their strong city; in their imagination it is like a high wall.
Set me as a seal upon your heart, As a seal upon your arm; For love is as strong as death, Jealousy as cruel as the grave; Its flames are flames of fire, A most vehement flame.Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, passion fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a raging flame.
There are many plans in a man’s heart, Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel—that will stand.The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.Therefore do not let anyone condemn you in matters of food and drink or of observing festivals, new moons, or sabbaths. These are only a shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.
