Those who refuse to gossip or harm their neighbors or speak evil of their friends.The one who leads a blameless life and does what is right, who speaks the truth from the heart and does not slander anyone, who does not harm a friend and does not scorn a neighbor.
But in that coming day no weapon turned against you will succeed. You will silence every voice raised up to accuse you. These benefits are enjoyed by the servants of the Lord; their vindication will come from me. I, the Lord, have spoken!No weapon used against you will prevail, and you will refute every accusation that is raised in court against you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, their vindication from me, says the Lord.
Wise words bring approval, but fools are destroyed by their own words.The words of a wise man win favor, but a fool’s tongue is his undoing.
Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.Where many words are spoken, sin is not absent, but whoever restrains his tongue is prudent.

Indeed, we all make many mistakes. For if we could control our tongues, we would be perfect and could also control ourselves in every other way.For all of us fall short in many ways. Anyone who never makes a mistake in speech has reached perfection and is able to control every part of his body.

Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.On hearing this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
