True love (2/4)

Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one's nearest kin.
The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness shall be a sure reward.The wicked earn no real gain, but those who sow righteousness get a true reward.
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
Let all your things be done with charity.Let all that you do be done in love.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.Beloved, since God loved us so much, we also ought to love one another.
And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.Above all, maintain constant love for one another, for love covers a multitude of sins.

The prophet has spoken it presumptuously; do not be frightened by it.
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.
And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.The commandment we have from him is this: those who love God must love their brothers and sisters also.
Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.I reprove and discipline those whom I love. Be earnest, therefore, and repent.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.Little children, let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.For this is the message you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.”
Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil.Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
