Bible Verses about Sacrifice

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. No one has greater love than this, to lay down one's life for one's friends.
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour. And live in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation. So Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin, but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.
For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will save it.
To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. To do righteousness and justice is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.Go and learn what this means, ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have come to call not the righteous but sinners.
For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. For I handed on to you as of first importance what I in turn had received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, and that he was buried, and that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures.
For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many. For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. He it is who gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds.
And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe. And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews! They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him, and after twisting some thorns into a crown, they put it on his head. They put a reed in his right hand and knelt before him and mocked him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? He who did not withhold his own Son, but gave him up for all of us, will he not with him also give us everything else?
Honour the Lord with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase.Honor the Lord with your substance and with the first fruits of all your produce.
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For while we were still weak, at the right time Christ died for the ungodly.
Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.No longer present your members to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life, and present your members to God as instruments of righteousness.
But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the Lord. But I with the voice of thanksgiving will sacrifice to you; what I have vowed I will pay. Deliverance belongs to the Lord!
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!
Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.Just as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life a ransom for many.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

And to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbour as himself, is more than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices. And ‘to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength,’ and ‘to love one's neighbor as oneself,’—this is much more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.
