- I have taught you in the way of wisdom.
I have led you in straight paths. - Charge those who are rich in this present age that they not be arrogant, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on the living God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy.
- Being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Also delight yourself in Yahweh,
and he will give you the desires of your heart. - Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.
- Our help is in Yahweh’s name,
who made heaven and earth. - Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.
In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly. - I set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be a sign of a covenant between me and the earth.
- Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- Every word of God is flawless.
He is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil,
but joy comes to the promoters of peace. - Yes, in the way of your judgments, Yahweh, we have waited for you.
Your name and your renown are the desire of our soul. - Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations.
I will be exalted in the earth. - For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.
- Oh how great is your goodness,
which you have laid up for those who fear you,
which you have worked for those who take refuge in you,
before the sons of men! - For a thousand years in your sight are just like yesterday when it is past,
like a watch in the night. - Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.
- I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.
I will counsel you with my eye on you. - Every day, in the temple and at home, they never stopped teaching and preaching Jesus, the Christ.
- Riches don’t profit in the day of wrath,
but righteousness delivers from death. - You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh,
and whose confidence is in Yahweh.
For he will be as a tree planted by the waters,
who spreads out its roots by the river,
and will not fear when heat comes,
but its leaf will be green,
and will not be concerned in the year of drought.
It won’t cease from yielding fruit. - Even so, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner repenting.
- “For I have no pleasure in the death of him who dies,” says the Lord Yahweh. “Therefore turn yourselves, and live!”
- Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stand on the path of sinners,
nor sit in the seat of scoffers.
