In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.Pride only breeds quarrels, but wisdom is with people who take advice.
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.No one, when he has lit a lamp, covers it with a container or puts it under a bed; but puts it on a stand, that those who enter in may see the light.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.For we are God’s fellow workers. You are God’s farming, God’s building.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are children of God.

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.Not rendering evil for evil or insult for insult; but instead blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.Yahweh’s eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.
This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner.He is ‘the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.’
All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.“All things are lawful for me,” but not all things are profitable. “All things are lawful for me,” but not all things build up.
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfill.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.
Honour widows that are widows indeed.Honor widows who are widows indeed.
Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who do the truth are his delight.

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints.But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.Before the mountains were born, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.Who are you who judge another’s servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. Yes, he will be made to stand, for God has power to make him stand.
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don’t have love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
