How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!
Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name.
But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?
If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God.God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.So we have known and believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.
