- God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
- O come, let us worship and bow down,
let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker! - I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.
- You shall worship the Lord your God, and I will bless your bread and your water; and I will take sickness away from among you.
- How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!

- But in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord. Always be ready to make your defense to anyone who demands from you an accounting for the hope that is in you.
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- My soul thirsts for God,
for the living God.
When shall I come and behold
the face of God? - Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, revilers, robbers—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.
- Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- For nothing will be impossible with God.
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
- On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord,
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
my God will hear me.The fear of the Lord is instruction in wisdom,
