We have sinned and done wrong and acted wickedly and rebelled, turning aside from your commandments and rules.We have sinned and committed iniquity, we have done wickedly and rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
If anyone sins, doing any of the things that by the Lord's commandments ought not to be done, though he did not know it, then realizes his guilt, he shall bear his iniquity.If a person sins, and commits any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the Lord, though he does not know it, yet he is guilty and shall bear his iniquity.
When he realizes his guilt in any of these and confesses the sin he has committed, he shall bring to the Lord as his compensation for the sin that he has committed.And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing.
I acknowledged my sin to you, and I did not cover my iniquity; I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.
